Lark & Lola Garland
This is a big day for me, everyone!
I'm finally ready to give you the real deal when it comes to my hand crafted garland banners that I've been crafting lovingly for years now.
Bonjour garland
Behold, my very first video tutorial!
Since it's my first, will you give me a little slack for the overly yellow tone (I filmed at night, won't do that again), the constant refocusing my Sony Bloggie did (never buy a Bloggie), and the cut off wording (which I replaced with more wording)? Look, I'm a crafter, but I'm no techie.
Next time I'll video more up-close of my hands. In the daylight. With my DSLR.
;-)

No, but really, could I have picked a better thumbnail for my video?
I look...shocked, haha!
It was a learning experience if nothing else!
Love my readers, but I used to say I'd never give up my secrets of how I craft these, so consider this my holiday gift to you. ;-P
BOO! Garland
The supply list for this craft is listed below.
As always, if you end up inspired by this tutorial, please do share your creation! I love to see what others do with my tutorial ideas.

  1. Yay!! You did great. I'd have completely forgotten how I made the garlands or started laughing hysterically and not been able to stop, but you did a marvelous job. And those banners are amazing. For real. (I love your little comments in there, too, like "Why did I wear black?!")

    1. THANKS Lauren! If you watch my cut/blooper reel, you'll see I did have a few frozen, deer in the headlights moments. Laughing hysterically at least would have been more entertaining :)
