Today I went (by myself) to A Paris Street Market. One of my favorite things about summertime. Each year, for about 3 years now, they have a street market at Aspen Grove on the first Saturday of each summer month. There's lots of vendors, and almost all of them sell the things I love: ephemera, vintage revamped furniture, antiques, shabby chic stuff, jewelry...

Although I wanted to spend thousands on all the things I love, the only thing I bought today was a Chein Bristol Ware Roly Poly tin. I collect them, and so far I had the Businessman and the Signer (my parents have Santa, which I grew up with). So today I was very happy to find the Dutchman in good condition at one of the vendors, and I only paid $8. These tins often go for around $20 on eBay. Woohoo.

  1. I just found your blog and I'm loving reading through your ideas. This post caught my eye because I used to live in Denver and LOVED A Paris Street Market. I went to their very first one and fell in love. Glad to see it's still going!
