I whipped some of these up for a baby shower I hosted last year,
just now finally getting around to posting a tutorial so you can make some too!

These party badges are perfect for the guests of honor at showers & birthday parties...heck, even weddings--why not?

I used my craft punch {scalloped circle, 2 5/16"} to get my own circles, one from glittered scrapbook paper for the front side, another from cardstock to stabilize the backside of each badge.

I printed my badge labels and cut them into strips. {Font: Made With a B}

These are so much better than the campy sashes they sell at party stores!
Make some next time you host a party that has a guest of honor.
For the baby shower, I made one for the mother-to-be, the grandmothers, aunts, and great-grandmothers.

These would also look great on freshly wrapped gifts, they're perfect for celebrating a child's special day, and would even look lovely just as home decor on your bulletin board, in my opinion!

Happy crafting!

  1. I think that I am going to make myself one of these that says Mom just for the heck of it! Why should we need a special occasion to wear a party badge? :-)
