Thanksgiving Tables
Two years ago we hosted Thanksgiving at our house. My grandmother had just passed away earlier that month and so it was a special tribute for me to be able to use her gorgeous china.
I also used pine cones as card holders for place settings. A hollowed out pumpkin made a lovely vase/centerpiece. Martha taught me how to fold napkins into a "lotus", which made the perfect place for the pine cones. It all came together quite nicely!Send me your table settings if you'd like to share them and I'll post them here!

Now I get your love of the blue and white pictures!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful table. Did you spray your pinecones with a sealer or just leave them as is? That's a wonderful idea to use them as place cards!
ReplyDeleteAmber - I bought those cinnamon scented pine cones that come in the bags at Christmas time and just used them as is without any problems.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment :)
Wow, what a beautiful table! How lovely to be able to use your Grandmother's china!
ReplyDeleteThe table looks lovely. I also inherited my Grandmother's china and it is so special to use. I found you on the local Etsy search. I am also in Castle Rock.
