My husband's grandmother just turned 95! A few years ago she moved to Colorado to be near her family, and after the process of moving, she handed down to me a copy of her church cookbook. I LOVE church cook books because they are filled with tried & true recipes that are family favorites and easy to prepare.
Grandma Sander was sure to point out one of her own submitted recipes, Snickers Bar Cookies, when she gave me the book. I decided to make some {finally} this week to take down to her for her 95th birthday. This recipe makes a hearty, nutty cookie that's not too sweet. It's quite a nondescript looking cookie until you bite into it, what, with an entire Snickers mini bar hidden inside. Yum! Snickers is my favorite candy bar, so I was happy to try this recipe, and now I'm sharing it with you...

I also wanted to share a few items the Easter Bunny {aka Mom} put in my basket!
All these sweet kitchen items can be found at Cost Plus World Market right now, aren't they so cute?
The measuring cups look just like Anthro's latte bowls. Love it.
Have a great weekend!
Cheers,
Heather
